Spent my day soaking in the sun, staring at the mountains, dipping in the pool, laughing with friends, and enjoying dinner that someone else cooked for me.
Life doesn't get much better than this!!

Now what?
What a wild two weeks it's been. I am exhausted! Spent a week roughing it in Kentucky, then worked each day and taught VBS each night. Tonight was our final session, and although I'll miss my fourth-graders, I am looking forward to being able to go through an entire day without screaming for at least 3 hours straight. After spending a week with teenagers and another week with the younger kids, let's just say that I have a newfound respect for schoolteachers!
Tomorrow morning I have a meeting at UT, then back to church to take down my classroom, then I finally can get back to my normal routine, whatever that was. And maybe even have the energy to reclaim my house. I'm climbing over packed suitcases, piles of unfolded clothes, mountains of mail containing unpaid bills, and random sports equipment, papers, and books that I used this week. I have not even checked my bank accounts in over 2 weeks -- unheard of for me!
I promise I'll return all phone calls and e-mails soon... just gotta recover first!
